The novel "Captain Phillips" by Richard Phillips deals with the themes of piracy, globalization, and the Marines. The events of the novel revolve around the hijacking of the American cargo ship Marske Alabama, by a group of Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden off the Somali coast. The ship, led by Captain Richard Phillips and twenty navigators in the Gulf of Aden, was on its way to the port of Mombasa in Kenya, where it was transporting a load of supplies destined for...
